Lipilekha Pathshala Syllabus 2023-2025
The syllabus has been prepared with the idea of enhancing Bangla conversational skills of the students so that they can use it in their day-to-day communication with friends and family. All the levels will emphasize on spoken Bangla in combination with writing skills. There will also be an enrichment segment which will include learning all forms of arts (performing, visual etc.) in an entertaining way based on Bengali culture and literature. The enrichment classes will complement their class learnings. We believe this will provide an immersive learning experience for students of all ages and levels.
We encourage in-person participation by kids within driving distance to foster bonding and camaraderie. However, we also offer online classes for students and have participation from as far as in Europe.
We currently have three learning levels and plan to add more based on student progress.

Enrichment segment (In-person only with video sharing where applicable)
We have started a story reading enrichment activity (Galpodadur Ashor) by the eminent Lipilekha members who have a deep understanding of Bangla literature and culture. The custom play writing for the kids play is based on those popular children’s story series. For the period of October 2023 until January 2024 we are including the kids play in our enrichment program as it is planned to be staged during Saraswati Puja in February 2024. We are also planning to include a craft session during this period to be displayed as Saraswati Puja decoration.
In addition, we plan to start the “Story Forming” session once the students learn sentence formation with all the relevant forms (tense, person) and are ready to make sentences on their own to build on the story.
